Markets on Void
Crypto, derivatives, US stocks, macro and world events, each in a view of its own in the Void Portal. Here is what each one shows and how to read it.
Crypto
- Market overviewThe Market overview is the Portal's first screen: where the crypto market stands right now, before you look at any one coin.
- Crypto pricesCrypto prices lists the largest coins by market value with their moves over several timeframes, and opens a candle chart for any of them.
- Crypto sectorsCoins tend to move with others like them. Crypto sectors groups them, so you can see which part of the market money is moving into.
- New tokensNew tokens lists coins that have just started trading on decentralized exchanges, before most of them reach the big exchanges.
Derivatives
- LiquidationsWhen a leveraged trader runs out of margin, the exchange closes the position for them: a liquidation. This view shows the ones exchanges report and where more are likely to sit.
- Funding ratesPerpetual futures have no expiry, so exchanges keep their price close to the spot price with funding: a small payment between longs and shorts every few hours.
- OptionsOptions let traders bet on where Bitcoin and Ether will be by a date. Their prices say how much movement the market expects and which way it is hedging.
Technicals
- Technical summaryThe Technical summary gathers the common indicators for a coin into one reading, so you can see whether they agree.
- RSI heatmapThe RSI (relative strength index) measures how fast a price has moved on a scale from 0 to 100. The heatmap shows it for many coins at once.
- 200-day averageThe 200-day moving average is the most watched line for a long-term trend. This view shows how far each coin sits above or below its own.
Stocks and macro
- US stocksUS stocks shows how Wall Street is trading, in the same place as crypto, so you can see whether the two are moving together.
- Market boardsMarket boards puts the rest of the financial world on one screen: the markets that move crypto from the outside.
- Economic calendarThe economic calendar lists the week's data releases and central bank meetings, the scheduled moments when markets often move most.
News and the world
- Market newsMarket news gathers the headlines that move prices, with the official sources first.
- World eventsWorld events puts what is happening around the world on a globe, for the events that move oil, shipping and markets.
