Privacy Policy

Void Finance is a Discord bot that posts market data as image cards, and hellovoidapp.com is its website. This policy covers both.
In short: the website has no cookies and no tracking, and the bot keeps only the settings it needs to post in your server. It doesn't read your messages or store anything about you.
The Website
- No cookies, no analytics, no ads and no tracking scripts, so there's no cookie banner.
- Everything on the site, from fonts to images, loads from hellovoidapp.com itself, not from other companies.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The Bot
When a server admin turns on an automated post with /automate, the bot stores:
- the server's ID, which post it is, the channel ID, the ID of the role to ping (if one is picked) and when it was turned on;
- the IDs of its own messages that it updates later, such as the day's economic calendar, and a record of which scheduled posts have gone out, so none is sent twice.
That's all it keeps. In particular:
- It doesn't read messages. It only sees the commands people use and the buttons and menus they press on its posts.
- It doesn't store anything about users. When you use a command, Discord tells the bot who you are and what you're allowed to do, for example whether you can manage the server for
/automate. The bot uses that to answer and doesn't keep it. - It doesn't sell or share data. The market data on the cards comes from public sources such as Investing.com, TradingView, CoinGecko and crypto exchanges. The bot downloads prices from them and sends them nothing about you or your server.
Deleting Your Data
- Turn a post off with
/automateand its setting is deleted. - Remove the bot from your server and it stops posting there.
- To have everything stored for your server deleted, ask in our support server.
Discord
The bot works inside Discord, so Discord's Privacy Policy covers your use of Discord itself.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
